Years ago I published bibliographies on sexuality. In the light of current discussions particularly about homosexuality (unfortunately, the arguments haven't changed much over the past 40 years), I thought it might be helpful to start another bibliography. I'll add to it as I come across resources, and will dig out some of my older bibliographies to see if any of their resources are still available. Visit this page again soon. Also visit my writings page if you came directly to this page through a search engine.
With the presence of the World Wide Web via the Internet, there are many, many resources on sexuality and most are free. Many are very helpful and give the best thinking and knowledge about human sexuality. Some are not helpful and perpetuate inaccurate and harmful stereotypes and information. YouTube is one of those sources which has some helpful resources. I will include some of the better ones as I come across them.
Homosexuality and the Bible
If you're gay and you think the Bible condemns you, read these web resources. If you're thinking that ending your own life is the answer to all this pain, visit The Trevor Project or call 866-488-7386 right now!
"Here is one of the supreme ironies of history: for thousands of years in the Christian West, homosexuals have been the victims of inhospitable treatment -- the true crime of Sodom -- in the name of a mistaken understanding of Sodom's crime. Inhospitality, the crime that cries out to God for vengeance, has been and continues to be repeated every day." -- John J. McNeil, The Church and the Homosexual, 1976.
I recently wrote a bibliography on "homosexuality*" from the point of view of John Wesley's "Quadrilateral"--four sources for theological and ethical reflectioon: Scripture, Tradition, Reason, and Experience. (HTML PDF)
